How to choose a different package for an account in WHM

Description
  • Switching an account to a different package in WHM is easy, but it may be hard for you to find the link in the menu, as it is not named as you might think.
  • WHM refers to a package change as an upgrade or downgrade.
  • Locate Account Functions menu from the left side and click on Upgrade/Downgrade an account. Select an account from the list using its main domain or username, or search for an account. Click on modify button.
  • The current package of account is indicated and is selected by default in New Package menu.
  • Scroll down. The legend at the bottom indicates the packages in green can be selected and the ones in red can not.
  • Select a package from the list. The account package will be installed successfully. You will get a list of changes made by WHM.
  • There is another way of getting package change form. In Account information tab, click on list accounts option. Hover over the account’s row in the table and scroll right.
  • You will see the edit button beneath the package name. Clicking the link will transfer you to the page you were into.
