How to prevent new user registrations in Joomla

Description
  • Log into Joomla admin panel.
  • Click on Site -> Global configuration.
  • Go to System tab for checking system settings. In user settings tab, click No option for user registration. By this, users will get disabled to register an account for Joomla website.
  • You may also choose default group, which is applied for new users for registration and set whether users have to log into the new account before logging in. Scroll up and click on Save button.
