How to edit your AntiSpam settings in H-Sphere

  • Log into H-Sphere control panel.
  • Go to Mail Info tab and click on Mail Manager option.
  • Select correct domain name and scroll down.
  • AntiSpam settings can be different for your email addresses or may be identical for all email resources in your account.
  • For the email addresses you want to configure, click corresponding AntiSpam icon. The first thing to do is to select Spam Check Level, which determines the filter level for your mail. Click on Spam processing icon and choose Move to option.
  • Maxscore is alternative scoring method of evaluating spam coming into your email account. It is left as undefined the Spam Check level above will be used. Else, MaxScore level will be used and emails identified as being spam will be automatically removed regardless of any previous spam selection.
  • Scroll down. There is option to mention White list (email addresses you want to accept) or Black list (email addresses you want to unaccept).
  • Click on Submit button. AntiSpam settings will be configured.
  • You can also configure AntiVirus settings for email address. Click AntiVirus icon (third one in resources) to proceed.
  • If you want to remove anything from account appearing as virus, choose Remove radio button.
  • Choose MIME type options which will let you receive emails of only a certain MIME types. Other mails will be rejected. MIME types are grouped into different sections. Click on Submit button to apply changes to server. AntiVirus settings will be configured.
  • If you want to make settings same for all email addresses in domain, you can do so by clicking the icons for AntiSpam and AntiVirus mentioned in the listed window.
