Managing user backups

Description
  • Log into Direct Admin as reseller.
  • Scroll down. In reseller tools section, click Manage User Backups tab.
  • The main backup screen will be displayed where you can set your backup preferences, perform backups and restore accounts.
  • Scroll down. You can create a backup of all users in reseller plan.
  • Step 1: You can add specific accounts to take backup.
  • Step 2: You can setup a cron, so that backups occur automatically at specific date/times.
  • Step 3: You need to tell system where to backup files. If backup is chosen for remote access, FTP details of remote server will be entered.
  • Scroll a little right and click on Submit button, when done. Backup process will begin and a notification will be sent when it is completed.
  • Restoring process: Go to main backup window.
  • Use IP address stored in backup to restore the account as it was before. Click the account you want to recover. Click on Submit button, when done. Restoration will take place.
  • Scroll right to go to bottom of page. If you create a cron to automatically backup files at set times, it will show up on the list.
  • You can save settings by clicking on save button.
